Mid Series Finale

Last night's episode of Desperate housewives was a shocker.  We have seen fires, been held hostage at the grocery store, survived forces of nature and an airplane crash, and now a Riot?  Last weeks episode Paul Young's Plan to destroy the block was revealed! Paul hopes to put in a half way house on Wisteria Lane for criminals who have served there time to have somewhere nice to go when being released from jail.  The neighbors are not gonna stand for this.  They have vote and find out Paul Young only needs ONE more vote ( he bought 6 houses on the lane) and he can open his half way house.

Gaby:  Very sad about Grace leaving and its hard for Juanita not to notice.  Gaby trying to deal with the grief of losing her child goes to Lynettes where lynette suggests she write Grace a letter, but never send it.  Gaby begins to write the letter and is called away,  Juanita sneaking around in her parents room READs the letter and knows that Grace and Her were switched at birth.  She confronts Gaby, and Gaby tries to console Juanita, Juanita PUSHES gaby and says your not my mother and bolts out of the house into the street where everyone has gathered...

Lynette:  trying to make sure no one sells there house to Paul Young, after someone does end up selling there house she persuades a few of the big guys in the neighborhood to set things straight. 

Susan:  After finding out about Renee having a thing for Tom, tells Tom that she knows and has an obligation to tell Lynette.  Tom says that what happened between Renee and him happened before they were married and there is no point to upset Lynette.   Tom leaves his house and heads towards Renee's minutes before the riot. 

Bob & Lee-  Lee is the realator on Wisteria Lane.  He sold all those houses to Paul Young and the neighborhood is not a friendly place for him at the time being.  Paul Young tells him someone else already sold there house to him and if Lee wants he can sell his house too because none of his neighbors are to friendly with him at the moment.  Lee sells and finds out he was tricked, Paul told him Mitsy (little old lady neighbor) sold his house to him, but turns out he lied, Mitsy says she wouldnt sell out her neighbors like that, and lee just gave Paul Young the extra vote he needed to put up a halfway house.  

Paul Young-  Being honored by the mayor of Fairview for his generousity in opening the half way house begins with a pep rally type deal for him to be awarded.  as the award is about to be given The neighbors come and start to riot!!!

Bree:  Keith moves in with Bree and begins to question where there relationship is going.  Keith's dad gave him a pep talk before the move telling Keith he is just rebound and that Bree isnt looking for anything serious.  After Bree and Keith break up, a knock on the door and Keiths dad is there, offering to do handy work.  later on.  Bree is cooking and hears a noise.  she calls out for Richard (Keiths dad) but when the camera moves across the room, we see a scary dark man, standing in Bree's living room with a bag in his hand looking for the half way house.  Bree, frightened by the man polietly says the house is next door and bet hes in a hurry to head over.  The man says he is in no hurry and stays standing right where he was.  Richard shows up and the man leaves,  he than begins to make out with Bree.  Bree shoves him off her and tells him to leave.  Keith comes over, Bree tells him what happened and a fight breaks out in bree's front yard.  The neighbors think that Keith and Richard are convicts from half way house and begin fighting with them.  Bree runs in and grabs her gun, causing EVERYONE to Panic and a chaotic riot breaks out! 


Bob and Lee try to escape in there car but cant move with all the people on the street, they want to go back and hide in there house but discover Juanita hiding in there back seat frightened by everyone.  Someone shouts that Bob and Lee are the traders and bats come out beating on the car with bob lee and juanita inside.   Gaby and Carlos searching for there daughter, Gaby comes running over and pulls this bad ass move tripping a guy and him falling face first on concrete (im looking for a video to place in blog because it was sooooo awesome!)

Susan gets trampled and is passed out when they find her

Lynette confronts Paul and Paul show's her what really happened.  That the nice pleasantville neighbors started and made this chaos where the criminals have been sitting in the house, quietly waiting for there second chance to begin. 


At the very END Paul Young is walking through the empty streets at night and IS SHOT!!!! and it ends and wont be back til January 14th :-(

Bree and Keith

At the beginning of Season 7 Bree and Orson Hodge officially (and finally) called it quits.  For the last 2 seasons There marriage has been a little rocky.  Orson would steal the neighbor's "Knick Knacks" to get back at the ones who were mean to him or aggrivated him in some way.  We than later discover he has been stealing to hurt Bree.  It's the one thing she can't control in life, and Orson loves it.  When Bree finds out Orson's reason for stealing she begins to have an affair with her lawyer/Susan's Ex Husband Carl.  During season 6 mid season finale, at a christmas block party Orson has discovered the affair and begins to fight with Carl, in the gingerbread house than a plane crashes killing Carl, leaving Orson paralyzed from the waist down.  It seems that things were getting better, with Bree taking care of Orson, and running her business (mrs van de kamp cook books) until a young man named Sam comes into there lives.  Bree hires him as her assistant and than later find out he is Rex's son (late husband from first marriage).  He makes many failed attempts to try to replace Andrew and later Black mails Bree into giving him her business in exchange he will remain silent about Andrew killing Mama Solis (season 1).  Bree covered up Andrew's mess and this upsets Orson who asks for a divorce.  In season 3 Orson ran over Mike Delfino in a hit and run, and Bree told him she would only be with him if he confessed to it and went to jail.  Orson is upset with Bree covering for Andrew when she made Orson pay for his mistakes. 

After Orson leaves Bree, she is sitting in her living room and notices a corner of the wallpaper is coming off the wall.  After several unsuccessful temps of making it stick, she rips off all wall paper and decides to hire a painter Keith (Brian Austin Greene).  Bree falls for keith but so does Renee.  They have a little neighbor rivalry very similar to Susan and Edie's fight over the new neighbor Mike Delfino.  It didn't last very long and Bree is now a cougar! This maybe my favorite story line of hers yet.  Bree and Keith are very happy together and Keith is very much in love with Bree. Bree thinks she's beginning menapause and goes to her Gyno for a check up.  Later that evening Keith takes Bree to meet his parents where the Dr from this morning happens to be Keiths Mom! she's upset that keith is dating an older lady and after large quantities of alcohol lets everyone know how she feels. 

Keith's parent's decide to separate and Keith's dad comes to stay with keith.  Bree feeling sorry for him has been inviting him out on her and keith's dates.  It's ok at first but than Keith's dad shows up the night keith plans on proposing to bree.  At that very same moment Bree sees an old friend from college (Libby From Lost!) and tries to pair up keiths dad w/ her for a little double date.  They have nothing in common and her friend aka debbie downer, is a complainer who ruins the date and proposal.  Later that night when Bree goes to keith's, his dad is there and confesses his love for bree!  Bree claims she loves keith and asks him to not try that again.  I love Bree and Keith together, they not traditonal, but maybe thats what Bree needs!   Stay tuned for tomorrow's episode .

The Scavos and Renee

This season with the scavos' is going sorta normal. Paige the newest and last baby bringing the grand total to 5. Renee the new neighbor stays with lynette and than buys Edie's old house on the lane.   Tom's mom moves in, and Lynette discovers something wrong with her. she cant seem to remember things but only spuratically, most of the time she was quite normal.  After taking her to a doctors they conclude that

she has Dimentia.  Lynette hire's Susan as her nanny, and up until last episode have things gotten very exciting.

Lynette and Tom are the couple who's marriage is rock solid and they are truely ment for each other.  They have dealt with many obstacles and are the only couple to always work through them.  They have also been tempted to cheat.  Lynette with Rick (former chef at Scavos' pizzeria who lynette had an infatuation with him but fired him when he made a move on her) and Tom with Pattie (woman in the gardening club who is known to sleep around, starts hanging out with Tom alone until Gaby puts a stop to it.)

Renee is the new neighbor in season 7.  A wife seperated from her professional baseball player husband, and Lynette's college roommate moves in on the lane.  Renee i believe is "Edie" reencarnated.  Marc Cherry (Creator of DH) and Nicholette Sheridan clearly didnt get along.  There names have been put in headlines on celebrity gossip magazines all last year.  I think Marc Cherry never intended for the character of Edie to die, just get the actor off his show.  Renee is Edie with Class.  She is a lady and can't stand children.  She see's Susan as someone below her (being Lynette's nanny and moving into an apartment) because of her money status.  Susan after walking in on Tom and Lynette having sex, walks in on Renee, who is bawling on the couch upset over her birthday, invites Renee out for the night.  Renee gets really drunk and tells Susan she is in love with Tom.  

  This season can go three ways for them.

1.  They stay strong and faithful to each other and there marriage continues on.  

2.  Tom ends up being seduced by Renee leading to a divorce and an end of a friendship and a Renee banishing from the lane.  

3.  Tom and Renee could have an almost, and lynette doesnt find out for a season or two. 

Cant seem to figure out how this will play out hopefully they can survive this obstacle!

Susan and Mike Delfino

The door opens and The Delfino's walk into 1B with their faces full of worry. MJ asks if they were poor, and Mike telling Susan "If you handle this one, ill tell him where babies come from".  a minute later Susan recieves a call from Ms McClusky and she is back on Wisteria Lane finding out that Paul Young is Back. 

Susan is desperate to get back into her home and takes up her landlady Maxine's offer by cleaning her apartment in sexy lingere while being filmed via web cam "basically a porn star on the show "Va Va Vroom."  The show is broadcasted in other countries and her land lady reassures no one will find out.  Through out the episodes we have seen very funny senarios with Susan.  One of the other girls stole susan's bit while cleaning, and ends in a cat fight with them rolling around on the floor infront of the camera.   Susan's porn star career is short lived when a company buys "Va Va Va Broom" and puts up billboards (with susan on them) all over fairview.  Susan has always been the clutz on the show and hardly ever has an accident free moment.  Before the billboards went up Maxine tells Susan a customer has paid double for a private session with her.  Susan logs on and to her horror Paul Young is on the other end of the screen and he blackmails Susan saying he will tell Mike about "Va Va Va Broom" if Susan doesnt sell her house to Paul.  Susan tries to evict Paul and he retaliates by getting her fired as the art teacher at MJ's school.  Susan eventually tells Mike and the blackmail stops... for now. 

So where are they now? Mike decides to take a job in Alaska on an oiling ship for 6 months.   Susan, upset with not being able to buy MJ the cereal that he wants takes up a job as Lynette's Nanny.  Renee (Vanessa Williams) looks down on Susan and thinks of her as the "help" and makes Susan feel low.  Lynette and Susan clash over taking care of baby Paige.  When the baby is crying Susan feels sorry for the baby and likes to rock her to sleep.  Lynette is trying to "train" paige and would rather let her cry it out and to learn to fall asleep on her own.   As far as what will happen, I think the Delfino's will have something crazy happen! maybe they win the lottery or Mike may have an accident and not return to Fairview?

Paul and Beth Young

In season 5 i correctly predicted the mystery after one episode knowing that Edies new husband Dave, was the husband of the woman and daughter that Mike and Susan hit after there car accident.  I wish i would have posted earlier but it took me two episodes to figure out who Beth aka Paul Young's wife is.   I knew she had to have been either Martha Huber or Felicia's daughter.  Lets look at the facts.  She married a man who she never met because he was in prison for manslaughter, she won't sleep with her husband and she is a Mommy's girl. (The story line resembles bobby boushe and his mama in the "water boy") Eventually after Paul tells her to get out by the end of the week she gives in.  When Beth visits Felicia in prison i was surprised when Beth went against her mother by siding with her husband and Felicia goes nuts! Even though she's right about Paul she is coming off as a crazy person, and in the end she may even kill her own daughter if she gets in the way, all to avenge her sister's death.

 What gets me is Felicia didnt even like her sister.  In season 1 when she first appears on the show, she is the sister of the neighbor who has gone missing.  also in Season 1 while at Paul Young's house ( i cant remember why she was there) she see's a picture of Pauls late wife on the fridge and says "omg that's Angela, we worked together in Utah".   Paul says she must be mistaken, his wife is named Mary Alice and they had never been to Utah.  Paul was lying then and season 1 finale we found out the truth of that mystery.  but is it the whole truth? Felicia and Paul have had a weird, connected history.  Is there more to the story than we know about?

As far as Paul Young's story line goes, i haven't gotta clue what he is doing.  Ok he is mad at his neighbors for not being at his trial, for not visiting in prison, and not defending him when he went away to prison for a crime he didnt commit.  Paul Young since day one can be described in one word CREEPY! so he's buying as many houses on wisteria lane as he can.  why? beats me.  Maybe it's like monopoly? Or  the only thing i can think of is maybe he's gonna turn wisteria lane into something else.  bull doze the houses? i dont know but if you really look at Paul Young's history he's not really the bad guy.  first season's finale revealed that He didnt kill dierdre (Zach's biological mother and Mike Delfino's girlfriend) but it was actually Mary Alice.  Yes Paul did kill Martha but i can see why.  Martha wrote Mary Alice the very note blackmailing her and resulting in Mary Alice's suicide.  Paul lost the love of his life and he was angry and he took his anger out on Martha.  In the end i think that felicia is goin to be seen as the crazy one and Paul Young will either be dead or back in prison for the murder he did commit. 

Solis Family

This season is getting really good! after watching 20 minutes of season 7 premiere "Remember Paul?" on September 26th, 12.8 million viewers found out that Juanita Solis was the mystery child switched at birth. 

 (A clean shaven) Carlos is approached by a neighbor and representative of the hospital.  He decides not to tell Gaby about Juanita until the end of the following episode. While Carlos was given the news about Juanita, Bree was confessing to Gaby about who was driving the car that hit Mama Solis.  Gaby decides not to tell Carlos in fear that he will kill Andrew and destroy there friendship.  I really loved when Gaby pulls Andrew and Bree a side at the hospital.  in the episode "You must meet my wife" Bree distracted by her new handyman backs up and runs over Juanita. Gaby asking what the deal was with there family trying to kill off everyone named Juanita Solis. 

After Gaby finds out Juanita isnt her biological daughter she begins acting like a crazy person, going up to girls in the mall and asking if they were born at Fairview Memorial.  Going behind Carlos back, She ends up hiring Bob to find the family with her daughter. When Carlos finds out he says if things end badly he will never forgive her.

In the most recent episode "The Thing that counts is whats inside" we met Grace, the solis biological daughter and the hernandez family. Grace is exactly like Gaby in everyway.  We first see her stamping her foot because her mother brought blue shoes and she was wearing red.  This is the daughter that i was expecting Gaby and Carlos to have when Season 4 finale jumped 5 yrs into the future.  I think this maybe similar to the Scavos and Kayla (Toms love child.) Senario.   Hopefully Grace wont become an evil little girl like Kayla, but possibly make for a funnier show.

  The girls dont know about being switched.  They think they are friends and that the Hernandez family and Solis' have decided to visit once a month.  Gaby is not hitting it off with Mrs Hernandez. Gaby gives Grace money for ice cream after she had been told no from her mother, and at the end of the last episode Gaby gives Grace a Chanel purse and tells her to keep it a secret.  Gaby needs to just for once listen too others and if she keeps this up shes not only going to lose visits w her real biological daughter but Carlos will leave her and more than likely be the one who ends up w/ the girls.  I like how Juanita and Mrs Hernandez were making  together.  I think the girls will find out soon about being switched and that Gaby had something to do with it.  Another possible outcome is that Something happens to the Hernandez in this years disaster, (every season has a disaster episode, Tornado, Fire, Plane Crash etc.) and Grace ends up with the Solis's?

Predictions for Season 7.

Season six finale went out with an explosion as the mystery behind the Bolen Family is revealed.  As more questions unravel through out the finale,the last two minutes reveal a familiar face returning to wisteria lane. 

                   The beginning of last seasons finales introduced us to a nurse who had worked at Fairview Memorial for thirty years.  The nurse was on her death bed and revealed to a pastor that she switched two children at birth.  After the pastor tells the hospital, a board member says that he knows one of these families, they lived on Wisteria Lane.  So the big question is who's child was switched at birth?  She never said when in her thirty years she switched them, it could be anyones child.  A lot of friends that watch the show think that it will be Celia, Gabrielle's youngest daughter but i think that it will either be an older child maybe one of Bree's or Julie Meyer, but im kinda leaning towards MJ.  Its kinda crazy but i think it maybe M.J. and he was switched at birth with Ms McCluskys husbands grandson (Seen in the finale as the deaf boy who gets MJ's dinosaur)

Lynette gives birth to a baby girl after discovering Eddie is the one hurting and killing women this season.  Eddie delivers Lynettes daughter in his living room and saves her when pulling the umbilical cord off of the babies neck.  Not much to predict with this story line other than Lynette will maybe visit Eddie in prison, and continue to be his "mother" for him, and Lynettes babies name will more than likely be a P name.  Polly is what Lynette wanted.  A fun trivia i caught was that in a flash back a few seasons ago, when lynette gave birth to Penny, while they were discussing names Tom suggests Polly and Lynette said no she had an aunt Polly.  Personally, im hoping for Peyton, but it could be Patricia (to go along w/ her late twin Patrick)

       Bree signs over her company to Sam, after he blackmails her saying if she does not give him his company he will tell Carlos and Gaby that Andrew was the one who ran over Mama Solis.  The last time we see Bree she pulls Gaby aside telling her she needs to tell her something that might end their friendship.  I dont think Gaby will be to heartbroken over this news, not really liking Mama Solis.  If you remember Mama Solis had just caught Gaby having an affair with John (her teenage gardener) and snapped a photo of them in Gaby's bedroom. Mama Solis was chased out of the room and ran over in the street by Andrew in the first season.  Carlos will probably be upset but not make Andrew turn himself into the police.  Instead Carlos will find some other punishment that will be funny and yet cruel and unusual.  Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry has always said that he wont let his characters get away w/ commiting crimes, or keeping things a secret, that karma goes around.  Sam wont get very far with Brees company, maybe he will get into an accident of his own this season?

                        The Delfinos are moving across town due to lack of funds, Susan gave up her house to help them out.  At the Garage sale during the finale Susan says there living in a apt building behind a gas station.  I bet this will lead to a lot of funny neighbors and confrontations with Susan.  

     Finally the big question from last season,  "WHY IS PAUL YOUNG BACK?" Paul,was the husband to the narrator and late wife Mary Alice/ Angela Young. the last time we saw Paul he was framed for the murder of Felicia Tilman sister of Ms Huber. Mrs Huber was a neighbor woman from season 1 who liked to gossip and cause trouble and is murdered by Paul Young after he discovers she sent his wife the message that resulted in her suicide.   Felicia Tilman cut off her 3 fingers and left them in the back of Paul Youngs trunk, framing him for her murder, and she disappeared.  Now Paul is moving back to Wisteria lane renting out Susans house.    How did he get out of jail? With the jump in the series he had been in jail for 8 years.  Would that be a normal length of time spent in jail for murder?  Will Felicia come back?  Did he come back alone or shall we once again see Zachary, Pauls adopted son, Mike Delfinos biological son?  Is his return related at all to the children being switched at birth?  i find it very hard to believe it would be but it has to be connected someway.
